CVS Actuator

CVS Actuator

An actuator is a device that is responsible for moving and controlling a mechanism or system. An actuator requires a control device (controlled by control signal) and a source of energy. When it receives a control signal, an actuator responds by converting the source’s energy into mechanical motion. In the Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic sense, it is a form of automation or automatic control.

The CVS Series 1061 Piston Actuator is a pneumatic actuator used for on/off service or throttling applications to control rotary valves such as the CVS V-Ball Series, butterfly valves or eccentric disc valves. The flexibility of several mounting options of the CVS Series 1061, along with the compact design makes this actuator suitable in many applications.
