20 Jan EPCC TSL Ausmelt Furnance
Tin and base metal producer PT Timah Tbk continues to focus on completing the construction of a tin refining smelter with TSL Ausmelt Furnace technology. The project, which is located in Muntok, West Bangka, is carried out on an area of 2.1 hectares (ha).
PT Mitra Wira Pratama was chosen as a supplier for Breather Valve products with Flame Arrester from KSPC which will be used as a safety device in the fuel tank storage. The smelter itself has a capacity of 40,000 tons of crude tin per year, the work process of this smelter is also more controlled with the Process Control System (PCS).
