KSPC Vacuum Relief Valve

KSPC Vacuum Relief Valve

A Vacuum Relief Valve (VRV) is a safety device that protects storage tanks and process equipment from collapse or structural damage caused by negative pressure. The valve opens automatically when the internal pressure drops below its set vacuum level, equalizing the pressure by admitting atmospheric air or inert gas.

PT Mitra Wira Pratama has supplied a KSPC Vacuum Relief Valve type KSVB for one of the fragrance manufacturers in West Java. The product is for application in line with the raw tank material to prevent excessive vacuum conditions that could damage the tank during normal operation.

In fragrance manufacturing, the KSPC Vacuum Relief Valve type KSVB is commonly installed on raw material storage tanks containing essential oils, aroma chemicals, ethanol, and perfumer’s alcohol, organic solvents, and fragrance concentrates.
